| Through Fire rated Barriers The importance of sealing any gaps in fire resistant constructions can not be overstated. Fire, smoke and toxic gasses generated by fire cause most of the deaths in buildings. It is vital that any penetrations from room to room or floor to floor are sealed correctly for fire barrier validity. All penetrations of fire barriers are required to be certified by a licensed person.
